Ladies,
Have you had a recent setback? Are you struggling? Do you feel hopeless or like life is passing you by? Have you given up on achieving goals and dreams you once set for yourself? Do you feel like you once had so much potential but you don't know what happened to the girl you were then? Have you decided to just grin and bear it and try to "get by" in life?
Do you wish you could regain your energy and zest for life, and look forward to consistently setting and achieving new goals and dreams, while creating a life you love?
Listen, as women we go through so many transitions throughout our lives.
Sometimes these transitions are gradual and natural like moving from childhood into our teens, then transitioning from from teen to young adult, and later moving into midlife, and eventually retirement. With each of these transitions come new experiences and responsibilities as we learn to build and maintain relationships from dating to marriage, the joys and challenges of raising children, the adjustment of empty-nest syndrome, and then learning to maintain relationships wth our loved ones all over again as we experience the challenges of aging, perimenopause, and menopause. If we're lucky we flow from one change to the next easily and effortlessly. But more often than not there is a period of struggle and adjustment that comes with each new time in our life. And sometimes when we're truly not prepared for these changes then we find ourselves more than a bit off course and struggling to define a clear path to get back on track. We find ourselves tired, depressed, feeling hopeless, and stagnating, unable to move forward in life. That's no fun. And definitely not the life we want to live.
Other times we’re hit with unexpected events that force us into a place of transition that we aren’t immediately willing or able to accept - serious illness, injury, divorce, a financial set-back, the death of a loved one. These events can throw us so thorougly and completely off course that we can’t seem to navigate our way back to “normal” no matter how hard we try. If anything, it seems the harder we try the more off course we get. Eventually we lose confidence in ourselves and we stop trying to move forward.
That's why I created Life Transitions for Women!
Life Transitions for Women was born out of my own need to map a viable route to get my life back on track after a debilitating back injury. After being bed-ridden for 18 months I was left with depression, a fat, unfit body, an extra 80+ pounds, no self-esteem or belief in myself, or my ability to regain my confidence, my fitness level, and my life.
I began working with my own personal life coach who helped guide me back to the confident, happy, active, joy-filled wife, mother, and business woman I once was. I was so excited about the changes and progress that coaching brought about for me, and in such a short period of time, that I fell in love with all things 'coaching' and knew that I wanted to assist other women in reclaiming their lives, their confidence, and their joy.
