Alright all you luscious ladies and wonderful women,

Are you celebrating your weekly Woohoo? You know, doing the Snoopy dance for whatever fun and exciting thing that has happened to you this week? If not, you should be. It’s a great way to raise your energy, attract more wins into your life, and encourage others to focus on the good things in their own lives too! Here’s my uber fun Weekly Woohoo for this week:

My Favorite Christmas Memory: I’m in the Book!

As an official co-author of The Gratitude Book Project: My Favorite Christmas Memory, I want to share my appreciation with you!

I was so excited to be invited to participate as a co-author for The Gratitude Book Project series. In my coaching business, Life Transitions for Women, I often work with women who are struggling to overcome major life setbacks. One of the many lessons I instill in these clients is the importance of building a daily gratitude practice, both for raising their own energy, and for taking focus off of self to place it on the truly important things in life. So I knew The Gratitude Book Project was in line with my own values and priorities, and something I wanted to be a part of.

My contribution to the book, a short story titled “A Charlie Brown Tree”, centers around a young mother and how she came to appreciate the magic of Christmas through the eyes of her 6-year-old daughter.

The Gratitude Book Project: My Favorite Christmas Memory is stuffed full of surprises in this heart-warming collection of holiday memories that will put you in the spirit of the season.

The book gives you a peek inside the miracle a stranger brought to a single mom’s door and will delight with the joy one dollar and six plastic elves created for an entire family. Everything old will feel new again when you get caught up in a 5-year-old’s vision of Santa—from the window of a plane.

It makes a great holiday gift for friends and family and is one that can be enjoyed throughout the year; with the added benefit of reminding us all to take the time to count our blessings each day.

Many of us have discovered that recognizing and expressing gratitude out loud and often can be a life changing practice. I hope you will join me in being a part of keeping gratitude in motion, not just during the traditional holiday season, but throughout the year.

I am also completely stoked that The Gratitude Book Project® series proudly donates its net proceeds from retail sales to the following worthwhile charities:

· Feeding America

· Women for Women International

· American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (A.S.P.C.A.)

I hope you will join me in supporting these organizations and creating an epidemic of gratitude by purchasing one or two copies for yourself, your friends, family, or colleagues. Simply go to the Amazon page at http://amzn.to/rzsSSd to get your copy now.

P.S. ~ I’m excited to say I was elected to be a The Gratitude Book Project Ambassador too! Double Woohoo this week!

Upcoming Programs for Life Transitions for Women

Excitement abounds! The staff at LTFW has been hard at work promoting the Christmas book, editing portions of the Journey Back to Fit book to be released in 2012, booking appearances for the spring launch of the book, and the activity I’m most excited about: putting the finishing touches on promotional materials for 2012 coaching groups.

Here’s why I’m so excited about this:

1. Because working with clients is my favorite part of my business and

2. Because I know it’s going to be a crazy-busy year when the new book releases and I’m going to have to limit my group work for just a bit so I want to really take the time to enjoy the few groups I will be able to work with early in 2012.

Soooo, with that said . . .

In just a couple of weeks we will be welcoming in a brand new year. Many of us set New Year’s resolutions or goals but find that within a few weeks or days of setting them we allow ourselves to be distracted by “real life” and our dream of accomplishing what we want have fallen by the wayside.

I’m excited to announce we have a brand new Believers & Achievers: Rockstar Resolution Mastery Coaching Club coming up in early 2012. The details are still being ironed out, but I promise to update you soon with all the important information.

Imagine spending 4 focused, action-taking, hours a week, every week for 12 weeks working towards your resolution. How much progress would you make on your goal or dream? What would that be worth to you? That's 48 hours of focused, massive-action toward your goal. With all that coaching, support, encouragement, and accountability, how much closer would you be to realizing your dream? Would that amount of coaching allow you to achieve your first goal and be working on your next one? Mull that over for a bit, and I will send you all the details soon.

Exercise: Counting Daily Gratitudes

I’ve shared before how counting wins, or blessings, each day serves to raise your overall energy, as well as taking focus off of self which serves to increase your level of confidence. So I encourage you to begin a practice of putting pen to paper each morning and listing 10 or more recent wins, no matter how big or small, or 10 things you truly feel blessed to have in your life right now. It’s an easy exercise that only takes a few minutes each morning or evening. Try it for a week and see how your attitude, energy levels, and confidence improve. I promise you won’t be sorry for investing the time into this daily activity.

Ladies, I hope I have given you lots to think about today. Check out The Gratitude Book Project: My Favorite Christmas Memory on Amazon.com. Be sure to start or end your day counting your gratitudes. And be sure to watch your inbox for more details on upcoming 2012 goal mastery programs. I look forward to working with you in the future.
